LWB Canada’s Pro Bono Database brings together organizations and businesses who want to take a stand for justice and human rights. Every year, they put their knowledge and skills to work for our mission, through specific mandates.
We regularly offer mandates requiring a wide range of expertise such as law, communications, translation, interpretation and design. Our offers are published on an ad hoc and voluntary basis.
As part of its public’s protection mission, the Barreau du Québec (Quebec Bar) is a proud partner of Lawyers without Borders Canada’s (LWB Canada) and supports its mission and actions to the best of its ability.
Lawyers without Borders Canada encapsulates the essence of the legal profession by putting the qualities and values of the profession to work in defence of the most vulnerable people' rights in regions where the rule of law is an ambiguous notion.
We’re eager to continue to strengthen our ties with LWB Canada at a time where more and more States are being undermined by a flagrant denial of their citizens' fundamental rights. The Barreau de Québec is committed, and will remain committed, to positioning Quebec lawyers as key players in a changing world.

Partner Without Borders
Lawyers Without Borders Canada (LWB Canada) and the Centre d'accès à l'information juridique (CAIJ) share an unwavering commitment to the importance of legal knowledge as a fundamental pillar of democracy and the rule of law.
In this context, our partnership with LWB Canada is of particular significance. Since 2010, our collaboration has enabled the CAIJ to enrich its library of international law titles on the recommendation of LWB Canada.
Together, we have also offered essential training to Quebec legal professionals, addressing crucial international law topics. We have additionally developed some fifty TOPO questions, specially designed to guide our members towards the most relevant international law resources, both online and in the library.
Our two organizations share the same conviction: there can be no justice without access to legal knowledge. We are therefore proud to support the mission of a local organization which, day after day, by sharing its knowledge and expertise, contributes to the implementation of human rights around the world.
