This guide is a tool designed to facilitate the incorporation of two United Nations human rights mechanisms into the work strategies of local organizations in Honduras: the Working Group on Business and Human Rights, and the Universal Periodic Review of the Human Rights Council.
It provides resources to verify that the recommendations made to the State of Honduras are being fulfilled. The guide includes practical activities to help identify the types of recommendations, the entities responsible for their implementation and monitoring, as well as the rights involved.
By using this tool, indigenous populations, communities, and local organizations can propose and carry out oversight actions, citizen participation, and advocacy.
